OK first off I loaded the latest patch on Sunday, and before I did I do believe I had the paper that stated the Champion was cheating, now at the time I was no where near the quest, but now that I am done with everything else this still is not done. Now I went back threw the first 3 levels, as I recall the paper was in Citadel 2, but its no longer there and its not in my things, and yes I do keep all books and papers I come across, and I do have the first book of Raanaar also, because I think thats when I for got to see what it said.

Now the first time I found the Champion I didnt have skills in the Bow because I had a good Crossbow at the time and had all my skills was in that. Now I unlearned that and took up Bow skills and talked to Rupert and the Champion, but nothing seems to work. Now its not that big of a deal being that I am done with Act 1, but is the Bow that Rupert has any good ? And if so would killing give it to me, as it is I might just do that before I leave to get more EXP.

There is no bow. No one owns a weapon there, they are all handed a weapon (and they better not lose it) when they join the army

But Velthuijsen is right <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> - Rupert does not give you a bow, in spite of him telling you he would (he gave you money) - and his spoiler solution is correct, too?

One of these has to fail according to your choice - in both cases the imp is the key. So, threatening Vadorix to tell his master after you have spoken with Rupert, triggers the choices:
Great champion => 13824 XP and -1 rep if you tell him he's a cheat and allow him to bribe you. 1000 gp.
Losing soldier => 12744 XP and +1 rep, if you tell Rupert the champions' a cheat. And 500 gp for a bow, he says</span>
