I've made two playthroughs and gotten just about up to the goblin camp and I have some general concerns/questions.
Gith god options: I'm no D&D expert but making a Gith cleric and having to choose between Shar and Garl Glittergold seems incredibly weird. Even if it's just a surface level option it'd be nice to pick something appropriate. Oh nevermind I just assumed they all worshipped Tiamat but I guess Myrkul is acceptable?
Acid/Fire Arrows: Why does every goblin in the world have fire arrows and acid arrows? Why are these so common? It's annoying both from gameplay perspective and roleplay. Even the gnolls have tons of acid arrows!
Persuasion: The game really feels persuasion loaded at some points. Playing a Warlock with Friends lets you do a lot of stuff and that leads me into.
Rolls: I think sometimes the rolls are great but a lot of the time it's just annoying. A 18 Strength character can fail to break open a door or move a wooden beam where a 1 strength character can succeed at those same checks. I think it'd be great if somethings were just do you have >14 or not. The interface for letting allies take rolls needs to be better too.
Jumping: Well this might seem fun on the drawing board it gets really annoying really quick. Certain areas like behind the druid camp feel like a huge chore and not to mention are really annoying if your character has poor athletics(or whatever governs jump distance)
Terrain in general: Having height advantage is a HUGE benefit especially with shove, because it's such an OVERWHELMING benefit I think you'll see players constantly reloading to get it. I realize what we have is already done but I feel like having the only balance for standing on a ledge being a guy running up behind you and pushing you off isn't great.
