Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Shaman Grut never takes me prisoner?

So ive saved the game and gone back to replay this scenario over and over.
Grut will offer me the cure, then ill agree to drink it.

Then i always get 3 options

1. [half-elf] drink
2. refuse
3. attack

anytime I select half elf drink-- it looks like i drink it, then grut give me the suspicious eye, and says thats unfortunate and proceeds to atk.

I dont mind except now the whole golblin compound is KOS to me, and I cant do or activate any other quests thereafter.

Ive already proceed well past this-- so ive killed everything in there and apparently Halsim is somehow at the druid compound after.

Now my biggest concern is that I think I can now no longer get the 18 int circlet? Or am i incorrect

I don't think you can proceed as an elf, as they are immune to sleeping, drinking the potion doesn't work so she attacks. Besides you don't get the 18 int circlet from her it's in one of the bellies of the 3 ogre's you meet in the blighted village.

ah- no wonder
that's crummy, at that point the whole compound because aggro to me so i cant do any quests
