Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Issue in Goblin Camp, Minor Spoilers

Ok so in an upper section of the goblin camp there are some sleeping bugbears and goblins and the like. Gotta jump down from a stone ledge and the guy wakes up. I got great Charisma and whatnot and says I'll give him booze. I got like 4 rum and wine on me but the game goes into the barter and trade menu. The guy has a single bone and 3 gold on him. First time I tried he said I gave nothing and started attacking. Second time I confirmed I gave him 3 rum and he still said I gave him nothing. How do I give him something so I don't fight them in their home base? Gotta be like a dialogue option to give booze

Also another thing, tried using silence spell near some of the sleeping goblins, figured would keep them from hearing me bashing down a messed up wall to get in. Nope, wake up instantly. Silence should just remove all sound from inside to the outside so it theoretically should work
