I'm not sure what's going on but I'm missing some items after the patch this evening. I had both the spear haft and the spearhead. I just hadn't combined them. Now I don't have either one!!!
I even went back to saves from several days ago and the items are not there either!! They must be in my save files, but somehow the new patch doesn't show them anywhere. I've looked and looked and nothing... This kind of sucks... IDK what other items might also be missing.
EDIT: I think I'm losing my mind (must a mind flayer nearby). I found the spear haft in the Druid merchant's inventory! Apparently I sold it to him by mistake and didn't know or remember. Still not sure about the spear head... Maybe I'll get lucky and find it.
EDIT2: Update. Because of the constant reloading/replaying, I've had problems keeping track of what I've done and what I haven't. Both items are now accounted for ! One was my mistake; I apparently sold it to the Druid merchant by mistake.
The other from the mother Owlbear, I was sure I had gotten. However, when I checked, I had NOT done the Owlbear encounter. I did so much loading and saving around that point, that I lost track. So, my bad. As Emily Latella used to say, "Never mind"
