Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Could not open font <fonts\fontn1.fnt>?

Everytime i start the game i get "Could not open font <fonts\fontn1.fnt>" right after the configuration screen and then exits!
Works on my friends computer with same operating system (win XP)
I also reinstalled Win XP but still the same!
Searched my friends system for the file but it doesn't seem to exist!
Any clue?

Is there an error.txt file with additional information in the Beyond Divinity folder? The font the game is trying to open may be in a compressed file or database, since that does not appear to be the name of an existing file.

Did you shut down all non-essential programs before installing the game? Are you using an account with administrative privileges? Did you try installing the patch?

Issue solved!

Was Viruskiller blocking some system files...had to uninstall the viruskiller and now it works fine!...wasn't enough to exit the viruskiller!

Seems like BD is very sensitive to viruskillers

this is a protection cd issue. Disable every virus protection when you try to run the game.
