So today i logged into GOG and got a 500 something MB download to update the game. Unfortunately it gets "stuck" at the "applying patch" portion of it.
Specifically that means: Im around 70% - getting 1 more % really long (already waited significantly more than 45 minutes for the patch to finish - went from 70% to 80% within those 45 minutes)
My harddisk is physically in pain (or thats what it sounds like) and working @20/40 mb/s , around 7mb reading and/or writing to various .pak.download files when i check in system manager. (VirtualTexture, Voice)
I did not download any files of the "previous" patch that was hastily scrapped due to causing issues with save files (just barely noticed that was a thing).
It might actually be faster for me to simply uninstall and download the game again in its entirety.
