We need to ability to save our characters and reuse them in other play throughs. Also, I am 100% unlikely and completely uninterested in joining another person's game if I can't use my own character I've worked on and become attached to.

I have zero interest playing someone else's character.

The lack of import/export makes this a completely single player game with no attachment to characters.

My post is to address the lack of the feature, as literally every other baldur's gate game/expansion has had.
