Does the studio actually have the manpower to read all this feedback, or just this merely serve as an outlet for the angry/hopeful Baldur's Gate fans? lol

All we have are sweet promises and communications most likely restricted to weekly updates about development progress. A help desk tech got back to me a few days ago when I submitted a bug'' saying it feels like you guys arent listening and I got a pretty funny reply saying that there are many eyes in the forest, always lurking, always watching.

But there is no direct involvement on the forums, steam, or reddit from what ive been able to see.

If you ever feel hopeless, submit your bug reports here https://screamintothevoid.com/ laugh

They are definitely watching the most popular topics, but never respond directly.

They are going to be overwhelmed by the feedback for a while. Once people move on and the stream of feedback slows they will catch up. They will probably try to make lists of frequent complaints and combine them with game statistics. About a year ago I volunteered with a few other players to organize feedback for the playable teaser for the Gothic remake. It took weeks to organize the thousands of steam comments and surveys.

If anything, having forums like these is just a courtesy for consoomers.

I expect some poor intern is tasked with reading every post and making lists / summaries of stuff.

Hello intern, I thank you for your service!

Haha, my usual joke/note joke when we need something tedious done like data entry is "Just hire some kid fresh out of college for $12/hour and get back to work"

I think they read everything, or at least skim. This is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance, especially for a company with such a staff and budgets. They just don't answer so as not to attract unnecessary attention. But they hear us, I'm absolutely sure of it

Thanks to Larian for Baldurs Gate 3 and the reaction to player feedback

I have no doubt someone will read it.
The questions is always to what extent they will care and what they will do about it.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN

I think that is one of the things Raze does, go into the Members list here has the most posts of anyone. If I got it right, he's been super over the years here. He compiles all this and the team reviews it, this team has never been one who is simply silent and you get what you get and that is that. I will say with a million sold already this is a lot bigger than DOS's.

Exactly, they weren't expecting this number of BG fans to buy the early access haha. I hope with these sales they can make it less like DOS and more like BG smile

This is why Larian should take their time. If they need a few years of EA to polish BG3 so it can become the core of a renewed BG franchise, they will have a winner for decades. That why I am being a bit overcritical right now. I want them to succeed.
