Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks HELP!! Has anyone been perma-slowed???

I am in Act 1 and killed the skeleton mages before you get to the three laughing skeletons hanging on the wooden poles. I found that at this point my endurance slowly went away and I was walking very, very slowly. I went down and even did the samuel's chamber part where you get the first battlefield key and touch the six statues to move onto the next area.
I went to the battlefield and slept. I took potions,etc, etc. I am walking painfully slow and cant seem to get back to my normal walking speed.

Anyone else encounter this???

sorry to be painfully obvious, but it sounds as though you're encumbered.
are you sure you're not?

If your characters look like they're crouching, you may have inadvertently hit the sneak button (right button if you have sneak selected in secondary skill). When you're in sneak, your stamina goes down as you move and does not recover. This happened to me and I had to ask. Hope this helps.

If you are sneaking, check the primary and secondary hands for both your characters. Should you find sneaking in there, highlight that character, and press the appropriate mouse button, again--left for primary hand, right for secondary hand. That should remove the sneak "condition." Then swap out sneaking for something else for that character.

However, it has its uses. Keep it in mind, later for the act.

I cannot get either of my characters out of sneak mode..
Have tried everything I can think of and all that folks on the Gameboomers forum thought of.

We're in Act I in the drill field area-went into sneak mode along halls
I want out of sneak mode it will not change no matter what I have tired or what I have done..and I've spent most of the day trying different things..
I have ALL of the patches downloaded...
Suggestions-help please

I really don't want to have to start over again....
