how its no longer 1 big inventory. i really liked the other one better, but this is just MHO. doesn't count much on these boards.

Don't worry, it just takes a little time getting used to.

I suspect that will be changed back. If I were less charitable I might suspect Larian had deliberately removed the "all inventory" feature because they were afraid they'd be called on its visual mess, and the claims they made pre-release of putting in an auto-arrange button, but one of the reviews, in IGN, already mentioned that. So I suspect this was just oversight.

it's sometimes sad that you can't select a bunch of items in the inventory to move to the other character (haven't tried it though). this would avoid lots of right clicking.
OR the weight should be balanced between chars.

Agreed. An excellent idea.

With all respect for your opinion, but I disagree.I found the big inventory to be a big unmanagable mess.I much prefer the new tab system, like in Divinity, with everything well organised into distinct catagories.

What i really miss is a "new items" button. I'm in act 2 atm and i encountered a few times "acquired ne item" or so. But i can't find it in my inventory...
Should be easy to implement i think.

My fear is this => does the implentation of something new maybe break up something that has been working all the time (unnoticed? Leading to angry responses then?) I wish, I could understand this programming world to judge, if my secret wishes would fulfill that risk or not.

And yes, I have them, too. I was happy with the old inventory - but accepted the Larian decision, as they changed it, due to others being unhappy with it. I'm flexible (and Div had it the way as some gamers wanted it to see - ok).

A "see all" button would be nice - but this would be an additional one - could it mess up then? I can't judge this. Why I liked the old inventory? Because I'm a pack rat, but I like to keep everything neat in place => I built roads - grouped everything. Spent hrs on this, like a kid sorting out my riches <sniff>.

About a new item button => when the old inventory was still there => I kept the left space free => could see rewards at once. As the inventory has changed now - I still keep the left space in EVERY section free, so I can see what comes in. Only money was a prob - I had to jot down my amount, if I wanted to check what this kind of reward was.

I don't need this anymore, as I know by now, which rewards I get (played it several times).

It helps to like tidyness => good training for RL.

Exactly. Making mountains out of molehills again I think.

Allthough Viper's group drag 'n' drop method sounds cool.

Weird but... I must agree with Lews the buttons are a bit too smal and you can't really see which one means what... I liked the system a lot more. also... the inventory window (where all the items are) should be resizable and work in a grid kinda way, makes things less chaotic... imo this was askes some time ago: to make the inventory more grid-snap based

Maybe a hotkey to scroll through each category or something.
