I'm curious as to why getting up from being downed costs an action when you are helped up. In 5e it costs half your movement. Too many times this has caused problems with how to go about combat situations. If you say all the rules in the game are based off of 5e the most basic ones should stay the same.

I am assuming it is something that isn't properly implemented yet, based on the fact that the tooltips are consistent about saying that it costs half-movement to get up from prone.

yeah, it at times seems wierd. Heres my non 100% thing. It seems like standing up from prone does cost movement. (why half is another arguement) Yet if you are revived or helped up it seems to take your entire action. The just prone though has an animation and you have to wait for it to end, and at times switch to a companion through lower left portraits in order for it to recognize the animation as complete. This to me seems to happen more often then not. Yet at times it seems to work were prone takes all of your action, not always but sometimes.

So maybe it's a bug, and prone is working right, with the revive/help being all of 2 characters action...

As far as I've seen, this only happens when you help someone who is acting on the same turn as you. If you help someone who goes after you, then they still have their full actions. Thus I interpret it not as standing up costs an action, but that you've already spent your "action" making a death saving throw. Which kind of makes sense?

If your heart stopped, then someone defibrillated you, would you immediately be ready to fight (or do some other action-equivalent thing). Or would it take you at least a few seconds (a turn) to get your bearings?

Yes but then I don't have a heart so. That could be why it seems bugged to me, they way they are doing group initiative to me is wonky. I can sorta see it but it's hard telling who is actually going at the same time. yeah I know the pictures get bigger, but hell even the ai (space button) gets confused at times and skips a person. So it's not just me.
