So, something I realized recently, and am slightly worried about, based on a dialogue choice I heard from the crypt skeleton. If you respond to his question with the answer that each mortal should be judged on their deeds or something, then he says "Curious, I wonder what kind of judge you'll be." Or something along those lines, at least. That combined with the seemingly near-deity level the Absolute has, and the dream individual, who might very well be the Absolute themselves, grooming you to embrace your powers to some unknown ends just makes me extremely concerned and upset that Larian is pulling another DOS 1/2 on us, and is going to have the PC competing to become some form of deity themselves, which is the entire premise of DOS2 (Not sure about DOS1, as I've never gotten around to playing it through). I really hope that's not the case, especially if the maximum level through the entire full game is going to be around 10, and this is just my mind making even more crazy theories for me to get concerned about. There's also that book of dead gods in the same place as the skeleton, and if I'm not mistaken it's strangely listed as a story item, despite currently having almost nothing to do with any story at all, outside the temple/crypt itself.
