Hi all,

I have been searching through the forums to see if I could get an answer on a question (I think I know the answer to already). The question being: If I have a multiplayer game started and we are let's say up to the druid grove, could another friend join with a custom character and hop in at the same spot? Or do we have to start over from the start once more?

If it is 'we have to start over', then why is the option to have them create a new character and jump in not there? This would be a really good thing and I'm not sure why it's not doable. Of course I could be missing something when setting up multiplayer that is resulting in me thinking this is not a feature currently.

Please let me know if I'm missing something, or if my suspicions are correct.

I -believe- if someone doesn't start WITH you and joins during a playthrough, they take control of one of your already-recruited party members.

Right, that's what I thought. Hope they make the change so you can have your friends jump in with their custom characters. Even if they start at level 1, you can puppy guard them until they level. =D

Would be nice to be able to join with your character of choice (you could join at their level it's not a real matter). It would be a bit like in dark souls, you join, play and when you're done playing they get back their characters.
