Seeing we are getting more companions, let me add that I hope these will not all be on that nautiloid ship, hence not have the tadpole.
I hope we will encounter companions on the road, just like in the regular BG titles, and RPG titles in general, who are not all bound to the same fate as yours.
This way we won't also know who the others are from the first time that we play the game, who we will encounter. How? Because all Origin characters are on the character creation screen . So that gives you already all hints as to who you will encounter.
But I guess for all players, it is also nice to have take the road, where you meet these new travellers to join you, who are not with that same tadpole. Why should it. It will make for a totally different conversation.
