Things I would like to see (these are all gameplay suggestions and not bug related);

1) Perception Checks -- A single check done by the active party member with the best perception. Also a better job of pointing out what they are noticing-- many times I have seen the successful roll above a characters head but scene nothing flashing in the game to let me know what they saw.

2) Better Log - the damage log on the right side of the screen not very functional. I would like to see options for keeping it open as well as smart opening (like when combat starts or traps are triggered). It also seems to not progress on its own, it should always stay at the current time unless you manually scroll back.

3) Better Pathing - the pathing in this game is wonky. I will skirt around say a negative surface and they will walk right through it. I will click on a distant location and 3/4 of my characters will go directly there while the 4th (usually Astarion) will go some round about off the beaten path way that makes no sense. Party members also won't follow you to areas that you have to jump to which is very frustrating.

4) Hotbar/Ability/Spell management - While the hotbar is functional for sure, for Wizards and Clerics who have a lot of spells it becomes a bit of a headache as even expanding it further out doesn't provide enough space. I would recommend a system whereby any spells you have prepared are put into some sort of pop out (almost like a bag) inventory, organized by spell level. So there would be a little button for first level spells that you click it and boom there are all your prepared first levels, then if you click the 2nd level button the first level one closes and there are all your 2nd level spells -- double points if they are automatically organized by Alphabet.

5) Goblin's as a playable race - I know their race isnt in the core rulebook of 5e (they were added as a playable race in the supplement Volo's Guide to Monsters), but you have done such a great job with them in this game that it would be awesome to play as one.

I'm sure I will think of more stuff as a play, but so far I am really loving this game and can't wait for the full release.

1) This exists in D&D already and is known as passive perception. If your passive perception is high enough, for example, an illusory wall would either never show up or you would instantly see through it and discern it is an illusion. It is also made clear in the rules for illusions that you still need to interact with an illusion despite this passive perception but considering Larians stance I would also like to just see it implemented in some way.
2) I would also like to see the option for disabling it entirely.
3) I don't think characters should auto path perfectly by default. I support it's inclusion but would greatly prefer it to be a toggleable option.
4) No thank you. I don't think adding any more intrusive mechanics to be a good thing. If anything is added in this regard it should be an option, not a default feature.
5) Unfortunately Larian has already said they will only include PHB material but I don't see why not.

I am here to discuss a video game. Please do not try to rope me into anything other than that. Thank you.

I agree with all of this. Especially #1 and 4.

I think the way the Perception checks work in this game is really cool, but more than half of the time, my character will succeed in a check and I will be like "Wait! What did he see!?"

And yes, I would love to have the option to have spells sorted by level in addition to the hotbars. It would be great if you could click on the Level 1 and 2 tabs, that display how many spell slots you have, to open a small pane that displayed all the spells of that level that you could select.

I am all for Goblins being playable.
I'll pay for them as DLC if needed, I don't mind.

They made them too cool looking for me not to want to play as them.
