Is the goblin camp really the only thing to do besides the inn with the Not Paladins and gnolls? I tried taking the mountain pass cus I want to try to find the githyanki creche this time and it wouldn't let me. Or was I just going the wrong way for the githyanki creche and and too dumb to figure it out?
The toll house is the place with the Not Paladins. I did the first floor of the spider cave, but uh, I'm not about to try and kill a 100+ hp boss spider plus all her little minions at level freakin 4.
Well spider is killable. Also near toll house there is a location with lots of gnolls. Afterwards a burning manor with a quest and afterwards(all on a straight line) there is githyanki encounter. Also owl fight in the middle of the map. Swamp has at least 3 things to do.

Seems like you are missing out on loads. I don't really want to give away any spoilers but there is a lot more to do.
As noted, there's a lot more you haven't found. But Larian has explicitly said that chapter 1 -- which is all early access has -- is a linear story and that future chapters will be more open.
