If you have shield proficiency and a candle then this inventory shuffle gets kinda extreme.
You can throw candle on the floor, light it, dip your weapon, put i back in inventory. Attack for +1d4 on the dipped weapon then swap to shield before turn ends for +2 AC.
Not sure what the best way to solve it would be, I feel like it makes sense to be able to swap your weapons once in a turn but to swap them, then use them, then swap back - seems a bit wrong.
A candle bursting a metal weapon in flames is just plain cartoon stuff to begin with. Out with it, please. All of the dip stuff is completely over the top, actually.
