Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Help Tips & Tricks Stuck... (Possible tiny spoiler)

I jumped across the pillars in the druid grove to get to a chest, but I can't seem to be able to jump back now. I don't see a way to get shadowheart off of this pillar and back to the group. Am I missing something? Do I need more clarification on what I'm describing? Kinda figured this might be a known issue by now and people would know what I was talking about, but I dunno.

Assuming youve found one of the teleport spots you can always teleport her using the map. Sometimes jumping can be a bit iffy if you are just within your range limit.

Unfortunately I won't be able to try it for awhile though... I can't use my browser while the game is running since there's no way to pause the stupid game. I swear I quick saved before I exited but I loaded it back up to find myself quite a ways away from the aforementioned problem area. Now I get to repeat a whole bunch of stuff AGAIN (and again and again).

This game is sooo frustrating

Also, it's clear that the designer of this area intended for that chest to be some sort of 'explorer bonus' with the pillars sole purpose to provide a jumping platform to get to it, but forgot to make sure it would work in reverse, which it does not.

Could also try jumping straight down rather than using pillars (if it lets you) - likely take some falling damage, even to 0 hitpoints depending on how far you fall but team should be able to use help to get you back on your feet.
