I sent Astarion away after he tried to snack on me, but when later talking to Gandrel about him, the dialogue alternatives are as if Astarion were still at camp.
I replied I honestly don't know where he is as that was the only option that fit (though it was clear from the other available alternatives that the game saw it as deception), making Lae'zel commend me for not selling him out.

... and when speaking to Gandrel again, the only alternatives are to change my mind about telling him about Astarion being at camp.

I picked to tell him Astarion is at camp (again, incorrect), which Lae'zel somehow now approves, in conflict with her previous position.
