While playing at certain times, controls to open the Mini-Map, Inventory, and sometimes when I CTRL+S to save nothing happens, I can push the keys any number of times and even holding them has no effect.

It doesn't create that big of a problem, more an inconvenience as I have to click the inventory button. I usually just restart my game and that fixes it, but it still keeps happening and I'm using the latest 1.42 patch.

You may want to check whether you accidently hit the Shift Lock key... The shortcut keys are case sensitive. "I" will not open the inventory plate if "i" is bound to it and vice versa <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Actually that's happened to me too, and the first thing I checked was caps lock, but that wasn't the problem. Happened when I had entered the battlefields...pressing c didn't work to put away my weapons and the mini-map and inventory wouldn't open.

Later, after I had started a new session, everything was back to normal.
