Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks 1st summoning ingredients don't work

I have the feynur potion obtained from the lab. I have the root obtained from the flooge (tax or Nix?) in pipes. I have the spider leg obtained from the battle with the componenet monsters. I have the protection rune (wisdom) from the rune room. (actually, I have ALL the runes from that room). I have read every book in the library and even have taken the mushroom book with me.

I place the leg, potion and root in the circle and keep the rune in my inventory and then go talk to dimwhit who tells me I am missing some components. NO I AM NOT!! I got em all. They are in the circle.

Could someone tell me WTF is going on here? I even tried tlking to him with all the stuff in my inventory and not in the circle; same result.

Could this be bugged? Am I missing something?

It finally worked. Had to leave the room a few times and talkt to dimwhit several times before it FINALLY accepted that I had all the items. I did nothing different so it must be a freekin bug. Almost a showstopper too.

Anyway, I am on my way to the next level now after all 3 summons.

Aye, I also had a bit of trouble triggering that part of the quest in my first game. But, as you found out, it will eventually trigger IF you have everything that you need first.
