As a dwarf who enjoys having a shield to go with his mighty warhammer of justice.. I would like to formally request that my trusty shield not become invisible upon the stowing of my weapons, and instead appear on my back.

I thought I'd seen in some early game footage that they used to have this. Wonder why it's gone?

Also I add to this request: Please don't put all weapons on our back...

One of my biggest pet peeves is staffs and spears on your back... it just looks and feels wrong. I'd much rather see some items have a "relaxed carry" and not default to the back. (Same with torches, would be nice if they actually helt the torch up high, and not just relaxed carried it a if it was a mace or something.

There are only generic shields at the moment. I guess more variety will be added later. I think I have seen 4 different shapes so far, one round generic, one knight generic and two greenskins.

And mine usually don't disappear, they rather lose their texture and become shiny white pieces of matter.

That sounds great. But even just make a distinction, great weapons on the back is okay but rapier on back? What the hell Larian you're drunk order texi

Two items on the back probably have clipping issues. A Warhammer shouldn't be stowed on your back anyway. It should carried in hand and held closer to the heavy end for convenience outside combat.

True, I would like to see larger weapons rested on a shoulder or carried the way you mentioned, that way the shield could be slung over my back or at least be shown on my character somehow.

I concur,fix weapon display or at least make it a little bit better Larian.
