The game crashes periodically using Vulkan which was really frustrating at the beginning until I learned quicksaving but Directx11 never crashes. However, I take a good 10-15 fps hit while using it. Are there any tips or recommendations for me to play on Vulkan but avoid the crashing? I have the latest Nvidia driver for my GTX 1080ti. Currently running 1440p getting 50-55fps on Directx11 and 65-80 on Vulkan. Would reinstalling the game help? Thanks!

Other specs:

CPU - AMD 3700x
MOBU - Asus ROG x370f
RAM - 32gb corsair vengeance pro
Monitor - Asus 1440p 144hz

Vulkan is just unstable at the moment, until they put out a patch that list vulkan fixes i would recommend staying with DX11. Also i would guess they need to work with AMD and nvidia on making sure drivers are certified for BG3. Which i would think won't happen to the actual full release of the game.

Ok that makes sense thank you for letting me know! I will look forward to a new patch or just the full release to use Vulkan.

Not only it is unstable, but it's far less sharp than DX11 on my TV. The difference is going from blurry to crazy sharp. So I stick to DX11 for now.
