When a character dies, they cannot be left on the ground while the rest of the party fast travels to camp. Instead, an error message tells me that a player is unable to travel to camp. Even unchaining the character portrait does not help. This is odd since living characters can fast travel independently when unchained. This makes the friendly skeleton resurrection service useless except for deaths in camp. It also exacerbates an already difficult situation: after a battle with a BBG, if the party used all of its revivify during the fight and came out with one death there is no way to buy more revivify, no way to rest the party, the party is not strong enough to push through to the next unknown merchant location.
