I like the idea. I am not hoping for anything like that to be honest, because BG3 seems just way to different from those games. Also I'm not sure how level and quest design works. From what we see in EA and from the mobility systems (jump, misty step, etc.) I'm getting the impression, that everything is hand crafted. Not done with a pre-existing asset library.
That being said an editor which allows to create custom modules would be great. It would also increase the life span of the game beyond full release by that much. With all the hype surrounding BG3 this could actually become the successor of Neverwinter Nights - that game was supported for years by both the community and the developer.
My non plus ultra would be the possibility of persistent worlds. The game is designed for parties of four though, so I'm not sure if the engine even supports more than 4 players at once. Well, one can always dream.
