Just noticed this glitch today.

Entered into the "Teahouse" basement, tried to read a note on a body after a fight, and it just wouldn't open. Right click, Read, then it just closed my inventory. Couldn't pause or reopen my inventory for a a few seconds afterwards either.

Tried a few different notes and books, but the same each time. Loaded back to an earlier save and had the same issue.

Around the same time, I also had issues with running animations not working (t-posing and gliding along the ground), music suddenly stopping, and the Ethel fight not starting (though I gather that's a known issue).

First time I've had any bugs like this after ~80 hours played.

UPDATE: I tried loading a MUCH earlier save (i.e. about 6 hours back), and was able to read again with no issue - going to try to pinpoint when reading stopped being possible.

UPDATE 2: The issue started after I attacked the monster hunter by the "Teahouse". I made a save a couple of minutes after that and I can't read anything, but in any save before that I can still read.
