Ok, that was strange thing.

I was back into the Ethels Overgrown Tunnel to follow the way the freed ELF went. The one who allways said "Dont look!!!".
Ethel was allready beaten in a fight before and left alive for some other Place. Probably to Baldurs Gate to her relative "M".

So, when i entered the Area where the cage was, the Mask wearing guys waited for me to attack.
I fought a bit and then decided to reload a quicksave.

Did it and checked my inventory to search something to prepare better.
And .... HOLY SWEARING


EVERYTHING WAS GONE...
all except Backpacks, Pouches and items which where in use. All lose items not in bags where either gone or just invisible.

So i thought ok, reload again and nope... no change. Even a previous savegame load before the latest... no change...



Why this even happened with version 4.1.85.1780 on PC i dont know.
Dont know how to repeat it to learn what happened.[font:Arial Black][/font]

All my inventory items are invisible as well.
Also, when I pull up the character screen, all equipped items are invisible. I can still take stuff off and put it into inventory, but it is invisible all the time.

I am having this issue as well after the recent updste. i've loaded and reloaded saves. i've also closed the game and restarted but the items are still invisible. Also tried starting a whole new game and still no change. Although i am able to see what the items are when hovering over them, just can't see if they are there without doing that.

Also am having the same issue after this last patch.tried everything aside from reinstalling it and I dont really want to do that.

Same issue here. can't find a fix action at this time

I just "Checked the integrity of my files" and Steam said one file was corrupted and would be replaced ... but I did not see it being replaced.

UPDATE: It is now working.
Not sure why. I did the check integrity of files option in steam

GO TO STEAM LIBRARY
Right click on Buldur's Gate 3
Go To Properties
Go to Local Files
Click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files and let it run ..... if it says "All files ok ... or some such ... " you're golden ...

In my case, it said... one file corrupted and re-acquiring ... and now it worked ...

I did change the game system from Vulcan to DirectX11 ....

But I changed it back to Vulcan and it still works so.... try doing both
