Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Game crashes when I try to use level 2 sharpening

Hi,
I upgraded my game today. I tried to sharpen my 2-handed sword and the game crashes, sending an error report to MS.
I had no problem sharpening one time yesterday. Today, I added one skill point to sharpening skill and tried a second sharpening and the crash keeps occuring even after fully repairing the sword.
Any help appreciated,

OK...more info.
I tried sharpening a brand-new one handed weapon and COULD do so twice.
I retested sharpening my older 2-handed sword and game still crashes.
Anyway, hope you can take care of this.

If you've got version 1.43 installed, then that's an unexpected problem. Larian has already commented on this problem, saying they will try and release a new fix by the end of today. (hopefully)

They're really pumping out patches lately...

And to imagine it took Blizzard years to make the 1.10 patch.

This statement goes a long way to telling you the quality of product Blizzard puts out in the first place. Although you have to remember, they have basically full control. They aren't rushed near as much as other companies are to get a product out.
