Would be nice to have a button to quick sort inventory for players in BG3

There is, actually. The button circled below auto-sorts the inventories. It's just placed in a strange location.

You can also filter by type by selecting types in the row further left.

@The Composer, mine doesn't. The button that you've circled, in my game, is instead is circular, with a box attached to the right of it, and gives a drop down when selected.

The only way for me to quick sort is to select the drop down, select a DIFFERENT option (like type or weight), then go BACK to the option I was originally sorting by.

In my circumstance it takes 3 clicks to sort something. I just jumped in on hotfix 15, so maybe that's relevant, but yeah, that doesn't work for me.

I suppose you use some mods or Larian provided you some different version for testing. In current version of pure game that part of UI looks differently and works differently.

This image (and post) is from October, 2020, during the initial version of Early Access, so that will explain the differences smile However, it's still in the same relative area, just merged with options to sort by different types.

This is a good observation, I've added it to feedback documents.

To add to that; it auto sorts everybody - there's no way to quick sort a single character, but leave other character inventories, that you might have set up a differnet way, alone. This is also a detriment to the functionality and unser-friendliness of the current system.
