I think there might be a bug or I did something wrong here.

- I found Halsin
- Killed the leaders
- He said he will help
- Journal says he's dead

Here's what happened;

Huh? He probably hasn't died in battle while in your group right? (Sorta figured you would have mentioned that). Must be a bug then and not just that also a typo in the journal!

As for fixing it you probably don't have other choice than to replay from save I'm afraid
