apparently shadowheart is so made at us wanting to open the chest that she has locked up the dice and prevents us from even rolling on responses to her to progress dialogue.

Same happened to me!

Same, thanks for reporting. Doesn't let you roll the dice and seems to crash when you press too many buttons.
