This is my blog of things and will update when needed.
I have 150 hours between a Warlock and Rogue as of 10/31
Problem I have thus far:
Fake dice roll screen - I hate eye candy and this fake roll not only pisses me off, but takes away from gameplay, even when it mostly fails.
Attack roll vs AC - antiquated % base algorithm guarantees more failure and frustration than success and fun.
Cutscenes - Doesn't add quality gameplay to me, especially when it forces character teleportation and brings a disadvantage if combat ensues.
Ranged Attack - % based off distance limits gameplay to always stay at max range and risk being out of range quite often.
Invisibility - Any actions seem to break, which breaks the utility of this spell down to mere walking.
Passive Bonus vs 2d20 rolls - the whole point of 5E new mechanic offers greater success with 2 dice rolls
Pickpocket - as much as I like stealing everything, this is broken action economy. You can steal multiple items in the same turn / screen. Again, algorithm vs target number do 0 not actual DC mechanics
Lack of Mass Sell / Transfer
Gameplay Cache - Multiple game loads seem to bog down my system, causing me to quit out of the entire game and restart to reduce long reload times.
Items / Abilities - Several lack specific icons
Action Economy - Certain actions / bonus actions are locked in those only but can't be use a bonus action as an action choice
Day / Night cycle - game persists in day only, leaving many aspects of life out of the question. In addition, weakens some class abilities when currently only allowed 1 short rest.
Thrown Items - Lack realism from tossing 50 gal barrel to models not breaking on screen.
NPC special abilities - Some NPC have special abilities that PC should have or are completely new to the system. (Mud Mephits summoning more mephits or NPC having Sentinel feat)
The main story line is a fun plot, but even as EA, there are a lot of issue I have and not feeling confident about the future.
