ok im slowly going crazy with the music problem in beyond divinity, the title music is constantly playing at the same time as the music that is relevant to the area im in. Instead of the music fading down to make way for the relevant music it simply overlaps it making a horrible mess. Ive been waiting for this to be fixed, but i havent heard anything at all from anyone at Larian. Its just driving me insane, ive had the game two weeks and its still happening and i havent heard a word about it. I dont want to just play with the music turned down either. Please can someone please tell me if this will be fixed or if anyone has any idea how to fix it, and turning sound hardware down a notch doesnt help either. Along with this, theres also the battlefield maps constantly resetting which is just as infuriating. I understand Larian are working hard(very hard), but in all honesty i think a little communication would help (rather than just telling us a new patch is on the way) as it would shut people like me up. I just want to know if these things are getting fixed in the near future or if i should i give up for now.

Weirdness, I figured this problem had been fixed in a patch. I had it with 1.32 when I first started playing, but never seen it with 1.40+. Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe a reinstall of the game fixed it (since I did one to install the original 1.40).

I've only had the problem once recently, but when I reloaded it was fine. I'd say try making a new save then immediately reload to see if that'll work. Can't think of anything other than that, personally.

I had the same problem. Try uninstalling and then re-install.Make sure that you
save your save games when you reply to the question. When you re-install the problem should go away. It is probably a corrupted wav. file that patches won't fix. Then download 4.4. This worked for me with an earlier patch.

ok, well i have reinstalled the game at least 5 times, with all the seperate patches and started the game about 5 times over. I dont think it is just a corrupt file, as other people have had the same problem. It doesnt happen straight after patching but upon loading up again the problem crops up again, i have pretty much tried all the relevant tricks and nothing really helps. Has anyone from Larian got any idea's? is it a bug? Please help!!!!

You can work around by it by deleting the "beyond divinity.ogg" file I've heard, that's the title track music file.

yeah, but then you get portions without any music for a long period of time.
