Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Frames go from 120 fps to 15 fps in 5 mins (DX11)

After 5 mins of play it becomes unplayable.

I have an i7-7700hq, a GTX 1080 and 32 GB of RAM.

Graphics settings don't make a big difference and through performance monitor I see my system is not bottlenecking.
This is also happening in DOS2, and I have posted about my attempts to fix the problem in that forum.

Please help.
