Hi everyone. I realy hope this posrt will work at least a bit, so people (especially noobies) that complain that the game is too hard will get a little extra help by knowing which weapons are best for which acts and creaatures.
I would greatly appreciate it if the guys that have already beat the game or are fairly far could write a few lines about the different weapons and their capacity of damage.
WHat is the best 1 hand crushing damage weapon ( initial damage on a regular weapon of the kind you list)
what is the best 1 hand damage for a shadow weapon. 2 hand? etc. it would really show the noobs which weapons are best and which are weaker and not worth investing too many skill points in them. i am sick of eharing how hard the game is. hope a few good tips here would really help.
my own opinion is that shadow damage is overpowered:)
and bows are seriously underpowered especialy because of the fact that you cant sharpen them and their minimum damage is so low, and on the high difficulties you deal minimum damage most of the time.
good luck all of you.

a (needs 66 agility!!!) (cant use yest) 100-150 damage, with other nice facorites Ghost Raanars staff.

a (36 agilt, can't use yet) staff, 80-120 or so. tons of other thingies toop.

I've found a lot of good two-handed swords, so I've had my DK specialize in that (slashing only). I ignore shadow, bone, etc. weapons as not worth my time. A good two-hander, properly sharpened, can be one of the most powerful weapons in the game, capable of taking down most enemies in 1 or 2 hits.

My character uses a bow, and I haven't found many superb ones yet.

My DK uses Two-Handed Swords, but the highest damage weapons I've been finding are axes.

I finished the game with a 2H axe, and most of the best weapons I found were 2H axes, though there are a few good 2H swords too.

I tended to give my Mage the good Shadow/Spiritual weapons, as my fighter would kick a lot more damage without them.

I finished the game with a twice sharpened 2-H Axe. The critical hit with it took huge chunks out of the final Bosses health. As for bows I never found anything better than a plain old Elven bow.

In my 2nd game I found a great 2-H Sword (never found a good one in the first game), but the requirements are very high and I cannot use it for another level or two.

As for Magic my Wizard Attack Focussed Missile attack at level 4 in all 4 elemental damages is a one-shot kill on anything I have come across. Also Wizard Shaman Magic Nature Magic Hammer at level 2 does one-shot damage on groups of enemies.
