Thought I would throw some thoughts on one of the goblin camp mechanics here. It seems that no matter what, if Dror Ragzlin dies, your whole party aggros with the entirety of the goblin camp. It doesn't seem there's any way to circumvent this.I wanted to take this path of murdering Dror Ragzlin without making the entire goblin camp hostile because I told Halsin I would kill the leaders quietly. So far, I've managed to accomplish this with Priestess Gut (as there's a dialog and scene specifically tailored to this scenario), but haven't been able to accomplish it with Dror Ragzlin.
It definitely seems that game simply triggers a universal aggro flag with all goblins in the camp once you kill Dror Ragzlin, regardless of any witnesses, etc.
If you're interested in how I came to the conclusion, I'll include what makes me think this in a spoiler so as to not bulk up the post too much with contents besides my thoughts.
1) Cast invisibility on my wizard, who then walked into Dror Ragzlin's throne room and sat himself on the upper right (facing the throne from the front), next to the drop into the bottomless pit.
2) Used my rogue, who was in hiding, to cast minor illusion in the same area as my wizard to get Dror Ragzlin to investigate. This was a success, and no one came with him. Minor illusion also doesn't cause you stop hiding, so my rogue remained hidden from all entities in the camp; as far as the goblins are concerned, absolutely no one is there. My other characters were standing by in the grove for the purpose of the test.
3) As Dror Ragzlin is investigating the illusion, use the invisible wizard to push him into the bottomless pit.
Pushing doesn't break invisibility (though it probably should, but putting that aside...), so no one saw who/what pushed him into the pit, and no one was even present (as far as the goblins know) besides themselves in the room. No battles started once he died, but all the same, every blip indicating a creature in the goblin hideout turned red. The second one of my characters revealed themselves, we entered combat.
Just for further experimentation beforehand, I tried using smokepowder barrels to nuke the entire room with one person in disguise self who threw a grease bottle from the rafters above. Everyone in the room died, and no one saw my character, and no battle started afterward. Escaped with the guy, dropped disguise self, yet my entire party is still aggroed with the entirety of the goblin camp.
I don't think I need to provide any more examples, and I don't think this should be a thing. Definitely seems to take away options from the player arbitrarily. If no one could possibly have seen his death, then the entirety of the camp shouldn't act like they know you killed him.
Would love to have the option to be creative like this and be able circumvent taking away my option of speaking with anyone else in the goblin camp while still killing the leaders.
