scratch, my sweet doggo, since i saw you, as i warlock, ive fell in love with you. oh dear doggo. once ive saw you in my camp, i coudnt stop the urge to pet you. As for what sorcery you use my friends, you've charmed shadowheart , wyll and galle too.

For every time i pet you. those three love me more... wait... can i farm it? yup, every time i pet scratch, the affinity with those three go up.

So after spending a morning playing with my new furry companion. Those 3 became my best friends beause they saw the love in my eye while playing with him. i dont think its suppose to work thats way

I don't think the appreciation from petting the dog influence the actual appreciation (if I'm wrong well the programmers have a lot to do).

it does, the relationship statue change twice while i was trying to see if it was really working, and i even got back later wondering if it was only when the dog first came on the camp, and its not the case. if you speak to him more than once, he start giving you his charming effect, maybe due to the fur that got stick on the character cloth? hmpf?

He has some interactions beside petting, just not much as owlbear cub so it makes a bit of sense to get t from those. But overall you are right, it is probably bugged. I will pet him anyway, even without their approval, every time I am at camp because I tend to interact with animals in games as well as I do in real life. Can't help myself.

I did take note of the fact that Gael, Shadow, Wyll, appreciate when Scratch is petted, didn't catch that the approval wasn't only decorative but actual. Gonna test that with my new toon (I just hope to don't have to have good luck with the dice rolls).
