Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Game seems to be in slow motion

I just installed Beyond Divinity and started playing, but the game seems to be in sloooooooow motion. I'm in run mode even and everything is happening so slowly - movement, fighting, etc. There is a delay of at least 10 seconds from pointing and clicking until the action takes place. Is there a setting in the options menu I should be looking for to correct this problem? I did download the latest patch before I began playing. It may be my system, but I have been able to play Divine Divinity without this problem.

Check for updated video drivers, and if you are running Windows XP make sure you have the latest service pack and critical updates.

Dreadful lock ups in game

it seems to go into slow motion when it cant handle the graphics load, instead of dropping frames and getting choppy the game just slows down and it looks like slow motion

try lower resolution / less AA
