Hi everyone i would talk about the TWF feats that are useless because of the actual gameplay.

Problems :

The biggest problem come from the fact that you can switch any equipement while in combat, and with any character from any range, as FREE !

Second problem come from the fact that the offhand attack share the same cooldown with any bonus action.
Bonus actions are very important in BG3.

There is no point to take TWF feats, because you don't want to lose your bonus actions potential.
I will prefer to attack with a strong 2H weapon, strong 1H,bow or cast a spell, and after that switching 2 light weapon to attack with the offhand as bonus attack ( every character can do that when don't need to perform any bonus action ) This way you outperform damages even versus all TWF feats.

There is no point staying with 2 weapons equiped, even with the 1 AC bonus with the TWF feat ? when you can equip a shield before ending turn ? without any malus ? even if you don't master shield ( because the malus occur only when you attack, you just have to unequip, attack, equip, end turn)

No point staying with 2 weapons equiped for reaction attacks because only main hand attacks...

Solutions :

Switching any weapon while combat must use bonus action.
Switchnig any armor piece while combat shouldn't be allowed.

Offhand attack must be merged with main hand attack. I mean you shouldn't attack with your offhand alone, and always attack with the 2 weapons at same time. And so you keep your bonus action potential.
Add better range to all 2H weapons ( i didn't pay attention but if not, add a better str bonus ratio )

Thx for reading

My opinion like in most games that are solo. It should be up to the user. Since we are not really playing against another real player what's the harm besides not being realistic. All games have gimmicks or crutches. Like finding the best OP weapon to clear the map, or using a environment factor to destroy all critters and walk to the end of the scene unscathed. If a user wants a crutch its there experience. If a player wants to go realistic then go for it. I am not saying your solution is wrong or sheading bad light on your idea. Just giving my opinion.
