What I like about fantasy/DND type games is to create my own party. I understand that you worked hard on all the character development/voices/story, so having the option to create my own 4 companion party is out of the question /fully understand that.
But I would love if you could make this change:
-Every time we add new party member to party , we have a chance to build him from scratch but locked to their general class. What I mean by that is that I could not re roll Gale as a Thief, but could as a warlock/wizard .
With all your cut scenes in mind, you could easily limit the available classes as you see fit.
I could change attributes/background as I see fit.
Would love this.

You can currently play with a custom party through some multiplayer shenenigans. It's also been stated that you'll be able to create a whole custom party in the character creation screen. You'll also be able to recruit generic customizable mercenaries later on.

I'm against the ability to mess with companion builds, though. They're established characters and their features define them, especially class and background. (Their ability score distribution could be tweaked, though...)
