So, at the end of EA, Wyll wants to find Mizora, free her from the drow, and break his pact with her.

What do you think will happen in act 2?
I mean, Mizora was obviously lying, has no intention to break the pact and will try to trick him into keeping the pact as it is, probably offering him more power if we manage to free her.

However,

during Wyll's romance scene, it is made clear that we won't get him as a romanceable companion unless said pact is broken. So Larian must have the broken pact as an option for Wyll's story arc in act 2.

My question is, if the pact is broken, Wyll won't be a warlock anymore, will he?
So, will he retain some of that devilish power and become a sorcerer instead (given his stats / role in the party, I think that would be the best option)? Or will he revert back to being a thief? Or will he just become useless and leave the party?
What do you think?

He will have or you will have to find him a new patron if you want him to remain a warlock. I just hope there is an option to keep Mizora in your camp and have him not breaking the pact at all. She has lots of lines it seems after all. So might be interesting to have her around.

The Magic Mirror scene suggests that Wyll is more interested in reversing the power dynamic between them than breaking his pact with her.

I do feel somehow Wyll still loves her. When you talk to him at camp sometimes, he's all confused when remembering things about her. That's why I hope when we meet her, there is an option not to ditch her.

It reminds me a lot about Tyrion and Shae, when he always implies she's just a prostitute but deep inside he's got feelings for her.
