Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General Battlefields functioning properly in 1.44?

Really looking forward to playing the game, but have been trying to wait until all the bugs squashed. Just reinstalled game and patched to 1.44 and am itching to play.

Was hoping someone could give me some insight as to the state of the game. Are all the battlefield bugs fixed? Anything else I should be aware of? Any input appreciated.

well i am patched to 1.44 and entered the first BF last night....had to walk a bit to find the buggers but when i did.......well .... i'm still walkin around in there fighting 'em off! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I have only found one bug since installing v1.44. It involves being encumbered, an item getting stuck on your curser, and the game going into a continuous cycle of encumbered bells, scrolling "to heavy" messages, and items disappearing from your inventory. I am trying to duplicate the bug but it may be a total fluke since it has only happened one time in the Battlefield.

It appears that after v1.44 the game is good to go.

the only bug I encountered so far in the battlefields is that some skeletons were spawned in non- exising areas thus being stuck there and nowhere to go <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Patch 1.44 seems to have some small problems, here and there, that not everyone encounters, but on the whole I'd say it's definitely a good patch to start at, and I haven't encountered any insurmountable problems. (I did have one random crash to desktop, utterly unexplained, but I'm as willing to blame that on my low memory [I only have 256 mb of RAM and can't upgrade for a month because honestly things like rent and electricity come first] as I am on the game.)

So basically: everything seems pretty playable for most people, and you should be okay.
