Has anyone in the U.S. gotten the "free" novella with their copy of BD? Or is Best Buy really going to be the only place to get it? There's still no mention of the novella on the Best Buy site.
I can't believe the horrible distribution this game is receiving. I asked about this here and at Hip Games site (using their online form) over 2 weeks ago, and still have not received a reply from Larian or Hip confirming whether Best Buy will include the novella, and/or whether it will be available from any other US outlets... (I'm not paying extra to special order a "free" novella from overseas, sorry!)
If anyone (especially a Larian rep) can confirm whether Best Buy will have the novella, it would be much appreciated. The only thing worse than having to wait a full month beyond the release date would be waiting a full month only to find out the novella isn't even included...

P.S. Of course, from reading these forums, it doesn't seem like I'm missing much (yet). Since each patch is fixing many errors (while introducing a few new ones), maybe by the time Best Buy actually DOES get the game it will actually be in a playable state... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> By my count, there have been 6 patches for the English version in the past 18 days. That's pretty ridiculous - though I guess it at least shows that they're trying hard to get it right! Why companies can't get it right BEFORE release is one of those ongoing mysteries of life! I bet Larian wishes they'd spent more time on QA and less time fighting with the stupid copy protection now, huh? (read the "peeks of the week" if you don't know what I'm talking about)
