Look, I know that it might break the plot of the game, but I'm begging here.

Every night I wish I was playing as a green, little monster. I wish I was 3 feet tall and still had the ability to beat Astarion's little twink body into the ground.
I look into the eyes of my chosen, ideal tiefling woman I created and say 'You know, I really wish I was either dating Sazza or could become Sazza.'

You guys modeled their faces, you clearly understand how adorable their needle-like teeth, pushed up snoots, and grabby, gnarled hands are! I wish to visibly disgust my party members further than I already have!



Just think about it- picture being a stinky goblin in your mind's eye... it's beautiful, isn't it? <3

Asking the real questions here.

I too would like to play a goblin. Or any of the goblinoids, really. They're playable thanks to Volo's so there's no reason why not aside from maybe getting other races in first.

At this point goblins seem more probable than Dragonborn in this game

It may or may not have been intentional but the character's in the Goblin camp were more interesting than the Tieflings or The Druids. It may be relegated to a mod option but Goblin aren't undeserving of love just because of divergent cultural norms. And if this guy can be a Goblin it is not fair unless alice can be ooze. Color option is fluid at the moment.

Goblin as a player race could have interesting implications, with many at the start probably outright disliking you.
Alternatively, give us a goblin companion. Possibly one with their own warg mount as a fighter.

Wouldn't goblins be outright murdered in cities?

Only if we can dress 'em up like this:

It would be nice if we can play as goblin.

We can be a drow or githyanky, both races are not liked by most people as well.

Plus we have the disguise self spell.
In D:OS2 you could be an undead and people would attack you if you are not fully armored.

And don´t forget Nok Nok from Kingmaker.

Not always, there are not murderous goblins in Faerun I think? They would be not trusted and disliked, and the tieflings likely would need some really good convincing to even let you through the gates. But there are cases of good gobbos who have become heroes.
