...so you want developers to add hundreds upon hundreds of items into the world, create art assets for all of those items, and create physical models for all of those items and painstakingly assign parameters to each of those items. Then, you want them to build an entire crafting system from the ground up, and ensure that all of those pieces work together. You essentially want a complete overhaul of all of the systems that are in place to include something that isn't even a focus in actual live PNP 5e because you feel like something that isn't currently a priority in 5e being included in this game would make it feel like D&D?
I'm all for the whole "in a perfect world, these are the Christmas hopes of the child that lives inside of me" wish lists, but what you're asking for here would never happen in any capacity because of the sheer amount of time, money, and manpower that it would take to make happen.
Is it safe to assume that you haven't played D&D in many years, or you generally play with a lot of homebrewed ideas? Crafting hasn't been a priority in the baseline game (AKA the "proper D&D experience") for quite some time.
