When first we meet Astarian we wrestle, though he has a knife at my throat. This is already perilous but then, if I fail my first dice check, I'm offered a chance to establish who's who with a head butt. The problem there is that he still has that blade at my throat. To head butt him when he has a steel blade at my throat I would have to cut myself badly. Human necks are usually attached to the head we would butt with. For the head to move forward, the neck would as well.

Recommend that the cinematic depict an opportunity to head butt when the option is given, perhaps a momentary opening we can capitalize upon.

I enjoy that my relationship with Astarion is built on unexpected surprise, followed by sudden headbutts or elbow bashes, followed by Astarion cursing and rolling about. The first time, it was establishing, the second time it was precedent - if it happens a third time it will be cute and amusing, and I really hope there's a dialogue about it ^.^

A late game deception, Astarion holding you at knife point, asking how he knows it's really you... and the option to knee him hard as your proof, since that's just how this always goes between you both. ^.^

But yes, the animation should be tailored to make sense - not just blinding heading forward and letting the knife clip through our model's neck.

Humans also usualy have arms ... and those can be used to keep the blade out of range from neck while headbutting.
