so if you finish Investigate Kagha and you kill everyone in the last encounter, all you get is mundane loot. Even if you convince Kagha to do the right thing, theres no reward other than the loot dropped from the bodies and xp, so she should give you her necklace, Broodmother's Revenge (or whatever the magical item was called) as a thanks of saving her from herself (what the necklace does is that if you get healed, your weapon is coated with poison). She's an archdruid, im sure she can get something else like it. Also fix the dang interaction between you and Kagha when you confront her!!

The real reward is the friends you made along the way.

I prefer to to think of it as "the real friends are the rewards we got along the way".

So this idea gets a +1 from me. Investigating Kagha and turning her around seems to be the road less traveled as far as the Druid's Grove goes. It'd be nice to get a unique reward for going the extra mile.

Friendship is Magic. We don't need magic artifacts, we need friendship magic as a reward. Let her come to our camp party, treat us to tea. Look at the stars together and talk about the eternal. This is wonderful.

We need to get positive kind emotions as a quest reward. And to make this quest easier to find, it is very difficult to find this option with Kagha, I did not find it in three passes.

I like this idea ...
But i would like it even more, if that reward will not be guaranted.

You know more like conversation option:

Kagha: You saved me from myself, i was blind and stupid. How can i repay you?
1) Just allow Tieflings to stay here and stop that ritual.
2) [Persuation (15)] Help me find and free Halsin. > Sucess: You get another companion. / Failure: I need to stay here and help repair the damage i did.
3) [Persuation (10)] Do you have any magic artefact that would help me? > Sucess: Sure! Take this. / Failure: Im affraid i dont.

I strongly disagree, I think it makes sense that you don't always get the same rewards when you pick the "good" option. Always getting the same results regardless of your choices means the game would only contain the illusion of choice, because real choice has consequences. They do give you an inspiration dice as a reward for redeeming her, which is much more fitting in the context of what actually happens here. The fact that the reward differs based on the choices you make improves the game in my opinion.

In real life when you help people, they don't always give you their most valuable possession in thanks. It makes sense that Kagha only gives up her magic necklace if you take it off her dead corpse. It's not like she asked you to intervene, or owes you something personally. Her focus is on the shock of what just happened, she becomes distraught in regard to her own actions, it would be strange and out of place for her to start talking about giving you reward when she has just been outed as a traitor to the grove.

I dont believe this would be the case ...
You get different results, both for story and character ... you just get the same loot, wich hardly can be called same result. O_o

Especialy from a druid (since they dont tend to personal possesions so hard as some others) that you just prevented to do worst misstake in both her professional an personal life.
True she didnt ask you to interfere, and inspiration dice is quite nice ... but she as a person should somehow show you her gratitude.
Right now its: "Oh thank you hero, you opened my eyes ... i shall reward Tieflings who did nothing instead of you, who risked own life, with offering them shelter they allready have here!" ... kinda odd. :-/

True it may seem funny, since when you save Arabella, her mother gives you her neckage ...
Then you would help Kagha and she gives you her neckage ...
It might seem like common custom in this groove. laugh
