OK, now is the source a actual quest? I know you have to make a copy of the gem stone, but isn't it because the source can not recharge itself? do you have to find out why? or is it just part of the story line?

There is no quest regarding source and you can't find what's wrong with it. It's just a sign that there are evil forces involved.

Yep....I kept going back to see if Mardaneus (or whatever his name is) had any new info on the source problem....oh well it allowed me to buy heaps of extra healing potions though lol...I think from memory i ended up with about 100 health potions left over from my trips around the country to various potion sellers.

I wasn't even able to make a copy of the stone, because i didn't know where to do it (i did know how...)
Computergames dont affect kids. I mean, if computergames affect us as kids, we would all be running around in a dark room, munching pills with crappy music at the background!

welocme to the forum. In 1 of the houses in aleroth is a strange mirror. You need to throw this one in one of the swamps under goemoes house (if i'm not mistaken) and throw the gem on the same place where you ahd thrown the mirror (it will dissapear) and voila, there are your 2 gems

I'm not quite sure, but I think that "Restoring the Source" is no real quest. I don't remember whether this was once a quest which didn't make it into the game or not.
This thing must have appeared very early in the development of the game, I guess.

it shure would have been a cool quest i guess. But maybe it just had to be too big to fit in the storyline?
