Actually struggling to continue my morally bankrupt playthrough.....Testiment to the fine quality of writting I think. I dont usually care about the other characters and NPC's in games but BG3 has really made me think about my actions. Wondering if I can double cross the Gobbo's and what if any consequences would follow..... Some really distrubing music now playing when I move around near the Groves gate.......Eek?

I think you can destroy the tieflings and then turn on the goblins as well. I'm not sure if you can make it a triple-cross and finish the druids off as well, but I hope so.

I actually quite like the Tieflings which is what's making it so hard to continue....But..I want to explore the dark side. I like the idea of a triple cross however.... Just how deep does Larians writing go smile

I know if at the grove you
talk to Kagha then attack the druids, they will turn on the Tieflings, there will be a big battle in which both sides can die with or without your help.

For the goblin part,
you can side with them and raid the grove whether you killed everyone there before this or not. Then you can turn on Minthara afterwards (the goblins at the camp will be hostile whether you do this part or not.

Thanks Zarna. I'll look into those once I've tried a few other things.

I accidentally killed off everyone in the grove, so I"m tempted to try this out now that I'm heading into the Goblin territory. I'm also curious to see what happens on "Party Night" if all factions are, well, decimated. IS there still a party? Do the few of us left just get a snootful and pass out in our blood drenched bedrolls?

Does the Ogre come party with us instead???

Since this run has been a fiasco, I'm very tempted to see how far the metaphorical rabbit hole goes... Pretty sure it can't get any worse... RIGHT??? think hahaha

Thats not the evil path, but the psychopathic path. Sadly they get confused quite a lot, even by developers which is the reaso smart evil is so rare.

"Accidentlly" laugh I'd be interested in the result of your ..experiment. Yeah, what poor sucker gets the Ogres keys.... Shadowheart? Perhaps she'd approve. For once. I like to think that the writers have at least a half dozen potential paths for big story conclusions like that one but mebbies thats too much to hope for in EA??

Interesting ..... Could you define Smart Evil? I'm thinking wipe out your enemies but still have enough bodies kicking around to bring you stuff and do your deeds etc...?

Reach your goal at the expense of others while also increasing your power/influence.
Wiping out everyone usually does not achieve this as you do not profit from it and is just being evil for evil's sake which is on the level of saturday morning cartoon villains.

Ah ok. Thought it might be along those lines. Perfectly valid goals in the context of a game of DnD at least laugh
